Couples are loving the idea of hosting a romantic destination wedding with endless picturesque scenery and adventurous memories. Because of this, Courtney and her husband chose Miami as their wedding destination for their big day. While Busy Bee Events brought their event to life through design and decor, we brought Courtney’s bridal hair and makeup vision to life for her and her bridal party girl gang.

Romantic Updo and Natural Makeup for Destination Rooftop Miami Wedding
With wedding planning details in place, it was time for Courtney to find her perfect wedding hairstyle and makeup. Being that she was traveling from North Carolina, she had concerns about the Florida heat and humidity affecting her hair. Although we are not located in South Florida, Courtney insisted on having our team specifically because of our work with curly textured hair. Like all brides, Courtney wanted her hair to hold without frizz on her wedding day.

Courtney requested a romantic updo and natural makeup application using colors that were complementary to her skin tone. Her entire girl gang also came to Miami to celebrate her big day so we also had the opportunity to create makeup and hair looks for them as well!
Her bridal party had a diverse range of skin tones and hair textures. This allowed us to showcase each of her bridesmaid’s natural beauty. It also allowed us to create looks that were specifically tailored to their skin tone and hair texture.

Details for Rooftop Downtown Miami Destination Wedding
I think it goes without saying that when anyone travels to Miami, they’d like to be in a penthouse suite! Well, Courtney did just that, she chose the Penthouse Riverside Wharf which is situated in the heart of Downtown Miami. With 360 degree views of the Miami skyline, this South Florida destination wedding had everyone talking! Staying true to the setting and her style, Courtney took a romantic and classic approach to her decor. To bring this destination penthouse rooftop wedding to life, wedding planners at the Busy Bee took Courtney’s vision and brought it to life with a blend of traditional and tropical blooms.
Courtney’s destination wedding in Miami was romantic and traditional with touches of tropical.
